David’s 7th studio album, “You Are Everything”,
was released in Europe in 1993 on the BMG label. This album was a huge contrast
from his previous album “Everybody Sunshine”, in that this album would feature
several soft rock songs produced by such well known producers as Bruce Swedien
and Rene Moore. The albums first single, and the lead track on the album is “Dance
Dance D’amour”. “If I Could Only Say Goodbye”, “Wir Zwei Allein”, & “Miracle
Of Love” are just a few of the popular and well known tracks from this album.
Several of these songs would not only go on to be released as singles, but were
also a part of David’s 1995 self-titled album released in the USA. In addition
to the albums singles, the song “Tighter And Tighter” was also featured on an
episode of Baywatch. David also recorded a song called “Hit And Run” for this
album, but it was not released. The only way to ctach this one is on the “Behind
The Scenes” video released that same year. All in all, this is 1 Hofftastic
album that you need to get your hands on. It was released on cd and cassette,
and in 2 different versions. Version 1 contains the song “Wir Zwei Allein Heut
Nacht” and version 2 has the English version “A Star Looks Down Tonight”.
