DAVID

David's 5th studio album, titled, "David" would be released in 1991 on the BMG Music label. Following the success of his previous 2 albums, David ventured into a bit of a new style of music with this record. The albums first track "Do The Limbo Dance" is a great, feel good, dance track that David still enjoys performing in concert to this day. Other singles from this album include "Gipsy Girl", "Hands Up For Rock N Roll", and "Are You Still In Love With Me". This album was released on LP, CD, and cassette, and would also be released, minus 2 tracks, under the title "Close To Heaven", which is also a track on the album. Although this one is out of print, its worth getting your hands on, as there are some really great songs on this one!

THE BEST IS YET TO COME

"The Best Is Yet To Come", from the 1993 album "You Are Everything", was released as a cd single and 45rpm. This song, a favorite of David's, was also the name of his 1993 concert tour, and has been performed live in several of his concerts, including his 1994 pay-per-view US concert. The single/45 features the radio edit of the track and the B-side "Hot Shot City.

NOBODY BUT YOU

In the 1992 film "Ring Of The Musketeers", David portrays modern day musketeer, John Smith D'Artagnan. The action comedy which also stars Cheech Marin and Corbin Bernson, features a scene in which David's character has a rock concert in order to lure the criminals into town. During that concert, David performs the song "Nobody But You". Although this film/European series did have a soundtrack, this track was unfortunately not on it. I have been able to get my hands on the demo performed by Keith Landry, however, the only known release of David's version this cool track is in the film itself!

YOU ARE EVERYTHING

David’s 7^th studio album, “You Are Everything”, was released in Europe in 1993 on the BMG label. This album was a huge contrast from his previous album “Everybody Sunshine”, in that this album would feature several soft rock songs produced by such well known producers as Bruce Swedien and Rene Moore. The albums first single, and the lead track on the album is “Dance Dance D’amour”. “If I Could Only Say Goodbye”, “Wir Zwei Allein”, & “Miracle Of Love” are just a few of the popular and well known tracks from this album. Several of these songs would not only go on to be released as singles, but were also a part of David’s 1995 self-titled album released in the USA. In addition to the albums singles, the song “Tighter And Tighter” was also featured on an episode of Baywatch. David also recorded a song called “Hit And Run” for this album, but it was not released. The only way to ctach this one is on the “Behind The Scenes” video released that same year. All in all, this is 1 Hofftastic album that you need to get your hands on. It was released on cd and cassette, and in 2 different versions. Version 1 contains the song “Wir Zwei Allein Heut Nacht” and version 2 has the English version “A Star Looks Down Tonight”.

FISH HUNTER

David recorded the campy tune "Fish Hunter" for the soundtrack of the film Piranha 3DD in 2012. Playing himself in this crazy sequel to the 2010 hit Piranha 3D, David really turns it up a notch with this crazy song and video which is found at the end of the film!

FEELING GOOD

Although he has yet to release a recording of "Feeling Good", David has not only performed the song on America's Got Talent, and his Hoff Is Back dvd, but has performed this song live in several of his recent concerts. The song was written by Anthony Newly and Leslie Bricusse for the musical The Roar Of The Greasepaint - The Smell Of The Crowd in 1964. David always takes this one a step further and really puts a show into his performance, to go with his stellar vocals!

TRUE SURVIVOR

Released in 2015 with the underground HIT film Kung Fury, David's single "True Survivor" was a world wide smash. The song has over 23 million views on both YouTube and Vevo. David has said on record that he is proud to have a been a part of this project, and that this is his favorite song that he has ever recorded. We can only hope that it leads to more 80's style music in the near future! The song is available worldwide on iTunes, and was released on the albums vinyl soundtrack, as well as a 45 rpm.

WATCH OUT FOR HASSELHOFF

"Watch Out For Hasselhoff" is a compilation album released in Nov. of 1999. The album features 4 different versions of "Looking For Freedom". The original album version kicks off the album. We also get 3 remixes of the song throughout the album. Other hits such as "Do The Limbo Dance", "Crazy For You", and "Torero - Te Quiero" are also included on this one! Although the albums title is a take on the "Baywatch" name, it is a different album then "Watch Out For The Bay", which was released in 1995.

IS EVERYBODY HAPPY - ALBUM

The compilation album, "Is Everybody Happy", was released in Europe in 1995 on the Ariola Express label. The album features singles and album tracks from the albums, "Looking For Freedom", "Crazy For You", "David", & "Everybody Sunshine". This is a hard one to find on cd or cassette, but the tracks are readily available on iTunes from other albums and compilations. If you can get your hands on it, be sure to add it to your collection!

David's single "Let's Dance Tonight" was released in early 1991, and was featured on his 1990 album "Crazy For You". The song was originally recorded in 1984 by Pia Zadora, and was the title of one of her albums. David's version of the song has often been performed live at his shows around the world, and is often a crowd favorite. The song was released as a 12" vinyl single which included a long version, and instrumental version, and the album cut of "One And One Make Three". It was also released as a 45 rpm, and a cd maxi single with the same tracks. You can also find the digital download of this one on iTunes.

ARE YOU STILL IN LOVE WITH ME

The single "Are You Still In Love With Me" was released in 1991. The song is from the 1991 album "David". This awesome ballad was also featured in an episode of Baywatch. This one was only released as a 45rpm with the B-side "Gipsy Girl". You can still find this track on several compilation albums as well as digital download.

JE T'AIME MEANS I LOVE YOU

Released in 1989 on the album "Looking For Freedom", the song "Je T'Aime Means I Love You" was David's third single from the album. This song would go on to become a hit that David still performs live in concert around the world. There were a few different versions of the track released as a single. It was released as a 45 rpm with the B-side "Torero Te Quiero", as well as a 12" vinyl single and a cd maxi single. There was also a 45rpm and a 12" vinyl single released with the B-side "Yesterday's Love", which is extremely rare and hard to find. The song also features a very cool music video which can be found on the DVD "Live And Forever".

NIGHT ROCKER - SINGLE

Although the album itself was released in 1984/85 worldwide, there was a 45 rpm single of "Night Rocker" released in 1987. The 45 was released in Holland and is extremely rare. It features the album version of "Night Rocker", and the B-Side "She Cried".

HOLD ON MY LOVE

This rare 2 track cd single, "Hold On My Love", was released by Polydor Records in 1997. The song is from the album "Hooked On A Feeling". A cool feature of this one, is that it was not in a regular plastic cd case, but rather a cardboard picture sleeve. Track 2 is the album version of "I Live For Love".
